[November 21, 2009] NAKSgiving
Thanks to all the alumni brothers that showed! We all enjoyed the endless amount of food! Everyone had a great time to meet up with old and new brothers.
[October 22nd, 2009] Family Day
Big thanks to the parents that showed up for this wonderful event. Without the big parent support this event would of never happened. Many of us don't get to go home during the school quarters. Many of our parents don't get to visit either. This special day is the time where all of our families get to meet and spend time with the NAK family. We hold this event close to our hearts and can't wait for the next one in the spring!
[October 2, 2009] Oceanview Elementary
We voluntereed at Oceanview Elementary School in Arroyo Grande for the 3rd time for their annual Fall Festival on October 2nd. This event helps support the school while providing fun and entertainment to the students. 
We helped run two games, the Frisbee Toss and the Pig High Striker. Once the event ended, we were in charge of taking down most of the games and various items.
The date for this event was pushed back then originalliy scheduled, however, the new date landed on one of our rush events. Despite this scheduling conflict, we managed to split our numbers for both of the events.
Nu Alpha Kappa strives to help out the community whenever possible even in the toughest of times because those times are the most important.
